Sequencer: House Cats
Milestone 1:
I followed the Chickenser tutorial, and got pretty fixated on the idea of a cat sequencer. This photo includes many brain stormed ideas of how cats could be responsible for sequencing house music.
Milestone 2:
Celeste gave me the idea to have many tracks of house music running and to reduce volume based on which cats are in and out of the house since one main function of house music is about layering and removing tracks. I had a really hard time getting audio connected at all. I followed the chickenser sequencer, hoping to include meows, and make this one aspect of the finished product, but mainly get a sequencer working. As I adjust the volume or rate, the sequencer freezes, so I went back to letting my cats move around. I still have a lot of debugging to go, and hopefully can add functionality and incorporate my visualizer to produce something more interesting for the final project.
